Paradoxes, Fallacies, and Braintwisters: A Collection of Mathematical and Logical Conundrums, my fourth book, is a book featuring a collection of paradoxes, fallacies, and other counterintuive results, primarily in the field of mathematics.
The book is divided into 30 chapters. Typically, each chapter discusses a single paradox or other topic. Topics include Galileo's paradox, Zeno's paradoxes, St. Petersburg paradox, the two envelopes paradox, dissection puzzles, the Monty Hall problem, Newcomb's paradox, and others. Each chapter explains the topic, explains what is paradoxical or unintuitive about the topic, and then suggests possible ways of looking at or explaining the problem.
