Solving Math Problems

Solving Math Problems is the first book that I have written. It discusses problem solving in mathematics, primarily in the contexts of the sorts of problems you might encounter in school or in puzzle books or the like. Problem solving is an important skill to have when studying mathematics, and Solving Math Problems discusses problem-solving strategies applicable to all branches of mathematics. Topics covered in the book include George Pólya's four stages of problem solving, blocks to problem solving and how to get around them, good thinking habits, and heuristics. For mathematics students, the book also includes tips for preparing for and taking tests. The book also includes 25 problems with solutions.
